The first thing we need to choose is a document class. The article class isn’t designed for writing long documents like thesis’ so we’ll choose the report class, but we could also choose the book class. This is the latex template for my PhD thesis.
I commented the latex prologue and tried to keep it as simple as possible, so it can be easily understood and extended.
